I am horrible at this stuff, really, that's why we've been a thing for over nine months and I am just now writing a blog. Thanks for waiting around!
I guess I should start with an introduction. For those of you who don't know, my name is Brianna Jones and along with my husband Kirk, and two adorable children Levi (turns 4 in November) and Natalie (turns 2 in September) I own and run Lush & Lovely Floristry.
The past nine months have been a whirlwind, and so much more than we could have ever anticipated. Cleveland has opened it's arms to us, and we couldn't be more thankful to be on this journey with all you fine people! That being said, I wanted to let you guys in on what we're up to for the rest of the summer!
Starting with July (since we're in it) I was chosen to be in Scene Magazine's People issue, which will be hitting stands this month. So, check it out if you have the chance!
On the 27th, we will be at Hines Hills in Brecksville for LOVE BASH hosted by Borrow Rentals. It's a really awesome bridal show with really awesome vendors, so, if you're engaged, you should definitely check it out. Tickets can be bought through Borrow,
On the 30th, we will be in Brecksville again, this time at Spice Acres Farm, where we will be teaching a bouquet arranging class with fresh cut flowers. Literally, we are going to cut flowers and then arrange them (Gah, I love my job SO much!). Spice will be catering the event with all kinds of delicious food, and fresh lemonade! Tickets are $100 and that includes all materials and food! Seats are limited, so sign up today!
August 3rd we have our Bouquets and Blooms workshop where we will create beautiful, fresh bouquets with lovely summer blooms!
August 13th we will be hosting our monthly Birthday Blooms workshop. Get your favorite Leo and come make bouquets with lovely flowers, including Gladiolus, August's flower. We also have delicious cupcakes from Luna, seriously, if you've never had them, that's a reason in itself to sign up! $65 includes all materials and yummy treats!
August 17th we are back at Spice Acres for another field-to-vase event, so, if you have to miss the first one, don't fret!
Other than that, we are having a blast and staying busy with our very first wedding season! We are currently booking for 2018 weddings. We have made the decision that we will only do one wedding a month next year, so if you're interested in having us do your flowers, contact us to book a consultation!
As always, thanks for your continued support of our small business, we love you!!!
